Comparison and contrast are two processes we constantly perform in everyday life. When we compare two things,we show they are similar;when we contrast two things,we show they are different.We may compare or contrast two brand-name products (for example PS3 and X-Box360),or two television shows,two cars,two teachers,and etc.
The purpose of comparing and contrasting is to understand each of two things more clearly and,at times,to make judgments about them.
There are two methods of development possible in writing comparison and contrast essay.You can use One-Side-at-a-Time format or Point-by-Point format.
